Hip Pelvic Program

Our Hip and Pelvic Physios, James Mack, Chris Williams and Jim Mack have over 50 years of combined experience in the management of complex hip and pelvic presentations.  James, Chris and Jim are available at our Adelaide rooms on 70 South Terrace Adelaide.

The Program

We pride ourselves on taking the time to assess you when we first meet you.  A longer initial consult means we can perform a detailed assessment of your lower back, pelvis and hip.  This gives us an understanding of your presenting pathology , the mechanics of the surrounding joints and we will then work with you to create a plan going forward.

When necessary we use Real Time Ultrasound Real Time Ultrasound to assess and retrain the function of your deep core, lower back and hip stabilisers.

We understand that you are in pain and use initial manual therapy to help improve mobility, reduce pain and make your exercise program more enjoyable from day one.

We will set you up with a supervised Rehabilitation and Exercise or home based rehab program depending on your preferences and lifestyle.  This usually includes components of Pilates, Functional Strengthening as well as key stretches and mobility exercises.
